Virus Protection

(Note: This link will open a new window.) Computer virus protection software is installed on your computer. This software is your first line of defense against an attack and must not be disabled or bypassed. Employees should never disable or cancel anti-virus software scans. This leaves your computer vulnerable, which can open a doorway for the virus to move onto the network.

Every virus that is not automatically cleaned by the virus protection software constitutes a security incident and must be reported immediately to your agency's helpdesk.
